Safer than safe! The 2-in-1 Energi™ i-Size R129 child seat always stays securely in place thanks to ISOFIX and Top Tether installation – even when traveling without a child in it. The practical color indicators intuitively show you whether the seat is installed correctly. For even greater peace of mind, the Energi™ i-Size R129 is approved according to the latest EU safety standard R129 and is also i-Size certified for its entire service life. The integrated Safety Surround™ side impact protection provides extra side impact protection. This forward-facing child seat protects your child on every journey as they grow from toddler to teenager. From 76 to 105 cm (15 months to approximately 4 years), you strap them in using the integrated 5-point harness system. Thanks to ISOFIX and Top Tether installation, you can avoid the more complicated installation with the vehicle's belt when used in this way. As soon as your child is 100 cm tall (approx. 3.5 years), you can stow the integrated 5-point harness system inside the seat and use the child seat with the vehicle's belt. With this type of use, you not only strap your child in with the vehicle's belt, but also hold the child seat in place in the vehicle. For extra stability, you can still use ISOFIX and Top Tether. Is your child growing? No problem, the Energi™ i-Size R129 grows with them! You can adjust the headrest to 15 different height positions with one hand – the integrated harness system adjusts automatically. The integrated ventilation slots and the comfortably padded fabrics ensure comfort in any weather. And if something goes wrong in everyday life, you can simply remove the covers and machine wash them. - The Energi i-Size R129 can be used for a particularly long time and accompanies your child from 15 months to approximately 12 years of age
- You first strap your child in from 15 months to approx. 4 years (76 to 105 cm) with the integrated 5-point belt, the seat is installed in the car with ISOFIX and Top Tether
- Then, you strap your child in using the vehicle's belt (from approximately 3.5 to approximately 12 years old, 100 to 150 cm). The seat itself is also held in place by the vehicle's belt. For extra stability, you can still use ISOFIX and Top Tether.
